3D Artist (Generalist)

We are looking for a talented 3D Artist to join the core game development team.

This person will contribute in creation of various objects and elements such as architectural elements and environment props, vehicles, devices, character equipment and more. The right candidate has the passion in creating game- art and is able to produce stunning, high quality and efficient AAA game content.

Responsibilities

  • Modeling, texturing and implementation of real-time 3D assets.
  • Contributing to the references, concepts, and art direction, while also having the initiative to take the work further independently.
  • Participating in design choices and communicate with other artists, game designers and managers.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure that quality is consistent and cohesive.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in AAA game development (PC and/or console)
  • Shipped a AAA PC/Console title as a 3D Artist.
  • Demonstrated ability in designing and crafting high quality hard-surface art.
  • You have the passion to create designs fit for a tactical shooter game.
  • You have excellent understanding of form, color and materials.

As a Game Programmer, you will be working in cross-discipline teams creating various game systems and features from scratch. You will have a lot of say in how things work, how they are developed and maintained.

Gameplay Designer

We are looking for a Game Designer to join the core game development team. The ideal candidate will be working on key features in the second to second gameplay, controls, and combat from start on the paper all the way to cooperating with the programmers and integrating and tweaking the features in the engine.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of designing, prototyping, and implementing various gameplay features and driving them from the paper to the final quality
  • Creating designs, specifications, and mockups to demonstrate your ideas to the team
  • Working closely with programmers, artists, animators and audio designers on delivering the best possible results for your features
  • Collaborating with other designers and design leads on the given features

Requirements

  • 3+ years working on PC and/or console 3rd or 1st person game
  • Shipped at least 1 game in design role

Marketing Artist (video & 2D)

We are looking for a professional and passionate Marketing Artist to join the crew in Helsinki (or Cyprus) and work with a team to capture studio and game community life, help editing trailers and producing video art.

Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for projects and self-producing/directing when necessary, or alternatively working closely with teams to realize a specific vision.
  • Planning, scripting, shooting and editing branding and marketing materials
  • Help creating short gameplay videos for the gaming community, TV commercials, and other marketing and production-based materials.
  • Initiating concepts and work within a team to develop the best assets possible.
  • Resizing, adapting and re-layouting existing videos to other sizes and formats, based on the specs and guidelines provided
  • Using concept art or game style guide to create a consistent, on-target look across assets
  • Creating beautiful assets, posters, characters and environments for marketing the studio and the game

Requirements

  • 3+ years of video editing experience (Adobe Premiere, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Basic knowledge of cinematography and using camera equipment
  • Strong composition & layout skills
  • Experience working under tight deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure is required.
  • Team player with proven written and verbal communication skills, effective collaboration and negotiation skills, who enjoys group projects
  • 2+ years of experience in 2D art production
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to multitask and quickly iterate on ideas

We are looking for an Environment Artist to join the core game development team where you will be part of the layout creation process and creating a wide range of 3D environment assets for our game worlds.

Responsibilities

  • Modeling, texturing and implementation of environment assets

  • Working closely with Lead Environment Artist and our Level Designers to create high quality, high resolution 3D environment art, mostly props and architecture.

Senior QA Specialist

You will be playing a significant role in the in-house QA team on the upcoming Tactical PC Shooter and bringing the game from the hands of developers to the millions of players out there.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with designing, implementing, and maintaining QA processes
  • Executing manual and automated test plans
  • Tracking, reporting, and managing bugs in JIRA
  • Helping create and maintain test cases and other QA documents
  • Providing qualitative feedback to our development team regarding player experience and usability
  • Assisting in re-creating problems reported from the field

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AAA game development (PC and/or console)

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Strong understanding of game/software development cycles
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software like Jira

UI Artist

We are looking for a talented UI Artist with game art and user interface experience to support the Nine to Five development team. As an UI Artist you will work as part of our UI/UX team and closely with our game designers to bring the user experience of Nine to Five to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Create mock-ups based on the game design requests.
  • Implementing the UI designs and feature into the engine and making sure they are functional on all necessary platforms.
  • Create assets in Illustrator and Photoshop based on a style guide for the game.
  • Work very closely with the Art team, UI/UX Designers and community team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in the gaming studio working on PC/console titles
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience of Unreal, Unity or similar game engine.
  • Shipped at least one console AAA title as an UI Artist.
  • Able to understand technical implementations, limitations and scalability.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the design field, at least two years in the games industry.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required).
  • Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition).

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Excellent understanding of UX and interface design in games.
  • Good knowledge/experience of scalable UI design.
  • Confident understanding of typography and basic color theory.
