Animator

We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Animator to join the game development team where this person will be helping to create in-game animations with the highest quality standards using keyframe as well as mocap techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Working in close collaboration throughout different departments to assure implementation of animations within game engine.
  • Creating key frame animation as well as working with motion capture data for in-game assets while following the given style guide.
  • Character skinning in Maya
  • Creating Unreal Engine animation blueprints and components.
  • Ensuring timely completion of animation commitments at the desired quality bar.
  • Partnering with designers, programmers and other departments involved.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in game development (PC and/or console)
  • Excellent knowledge of Maya
  • Good knowledge of Unreal Engine animation blueprinting
  • Ability to create fluid, smooth, realistic animations
  • Good understanding and experience in gameplay animation

Audio Programmer (all levels)

As an Audio Programmer, you’ll be working closely with our sound and game designers to help deliver an immersive gameplay experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement necessary hooks between gameplay code and audio middleware to allow sound designers to create immersive experiences
  • Work on systems such as audio occlusion, in-game dialogue, shooting and impact effects and UI sounds
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

In this role you will be responsible for shaping the company marketing strategy and developing brand strategy for the game(s), partnering with development on the product roadmaps, driving always-on live services, and guiding cross-functional marketing efforts globally.

Responsibilities

  • Creating strategies and marketing roadmaps for the company and title(s) of Redhill Games.
  • Working together with the leadership team to create the overall publishing strategy for the company titles.

  • Owning the marketing budget and ROI, making the most of the available resources

Requirements

  • 7+ of as a marketing professional for a gaming or entertainment brand or similar experience as a dedicated account director at a Creative Agency with gaming client experience
  • Strong brand management knowledge in product marketing for a globally well-known brand.
  • Experience in all major areas of marketing, including online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, CRM, social media, performance marketing and PR
  • Hands-on experience with measuring the effect from different advertisements—ROI, retention, in-game audience behavior.
  • Analytics experience, including audience surveys and segmentation, then applying the results into real marketing experience.
  • Pioneering approach to marketing practices and tools capitalizing on evolution in industry trends and customer expectations.
  • Excellent creative writing, documentation and editing skills

Senior Environment Artist

We are looking for an Environment Artist to join the core game development team where you will be part of the layout creation process and creating a wide range of 3D environment assets for our game worlds.

Responsibilities

  • Modeling, texturing and implementation of environment assets 
  • Being able to find, follow references, concepts, and art direction, while also showing the initiative to take the work further independently 
  • Working closely with Lead Environment Artist and our Level Designers to create high quality, high resolution 3D environment art, mostly props and architecture.
  • Combine traditional art knowledge with next-gen 3D authoring techniques to create visually compelling spaces.
  • Stay up-to-date on the capabilities and workflows in Game Engine and other authoring tools as provided and used by the company.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in AAA game development (PC and/or console)

Senior QA Specialist

We are looking for a Senior QA Specialist to join the core game development team.

You will be playing a significant role in the in-house QA team on the upcoming Tactical PC Shooter and bringing the game from the hands of developers to the millions of players out there.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with designing, implementing, and maintaining QA processes
  • Executing manual and automated test plans
  • Tracking, reporting, and managing bugs in JIRA
  • Helping create and maintain test cases and other QA documents
  • Providing qualitative feedback to our development team regarding player experience and usability
  • Assisting in re-creating problems reported from the field
  • Collaborating across multiple disciplines within the team in driving the game to completion

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AAA game development (PC and/or console)
  • Shipped a PC/Console title as a Sr QA/QA Lead
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Strong understanding of game/software development cycles
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software like Jira
  • Experience in diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving issues
  • Deep understanding of defect reporting, version control, and configuration management best practices, along with different testing phase best practices and objectives
  • Great communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working with the third party companies providing testing services
  • Hungry to get hands dirty, not being just a manager;
  • Able to contribute to day-to-day efforts

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Experience with UX testing
  • Experience with UE4

UI Artist

We are looking for a talented UI Artist with game art experience to support Nine to Five development team. As an UI Artist you will work close with the UI/UX Designers to bring Nine to Five to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Create UI -assets based on the style guides and game design requests
  • Collaborate in developing the Nine to Five visual style and work according to existing style guides.
  • Create assets in Illustrator, Photoshop or other similar package.
  • Work very closely with the Art team, UI/UX Designers, and community team

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in the games industry.
  • Confident understanding of typography and basic color theory.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required).
  • Able to understand technical implementations, and limitations.
  • Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition)

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Graphic Design or comparable experience
  • Knowledge/experience of Unreal development

UI Programmer (all levels)

We are looking for a UI Programmer to join our core game development team in Helsinki, Finland to work on our first title – Nine to Five.

As a UI Programmer, you will be working closely with our UX, UI and game designers to create fluid and easy-to-use user interfaces that convey the right information at the right time in a clear and understandable way.

Responsibilities

  • Implement in-game UI in Unreal Engine 4 according to UI/UX designs
  • Ensure user interfaces work well with different resolutions, aspect ratios and physical screen sizes
  • Ensure user interfaces work well with different input methods

Requirements

  • Experience implementing scalable in-game UI
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a dedication to improving your craft
  • Proficient in C++, C or C#

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4
  • Worked on F2P games
  • Shipped a game or two
